Description :
1. POSITION CONTENT AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIP(S):
- To lead cost reduction programs with VOLVO 3P Suppliers.
* To support Purchasing Team in cost reduction program.
* Report to the Supplier Cost Manager

2. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To define the priorities for activities with the concerned Purchasing department :
- set the target
- plan the activities to be conducted at the Supplier .
- report on Supplier Development Workshops.
* To lead the Supplier development workshop productivity :
- Performance of the Supplier purchasing/Product efficency.
- Organization of the working meetings about value analysis and benchmarking meetings.
- Lead Supplier brainstorming meeting.
* To monitor and implement :
- SQD / Suppliers regular Committees.
- Continuous improvement plan (included savings estimations).
- Regular status on the performances.
* To support operational buyers on :
- calculation of cost breakdown.
- preparation of the price negotiations.
- cost reduction methods.
* To manage the purchasing cost reduction method :
- Participation to the evolution of the cost reduction method.
- Look at Supplier Best Practice Survey.

Profil du candidat :
- Client / Supplier relationship experience.
- Production knowledge background.
- Curiosity to participate in cost optimization schemes.
- Relationship skills, flexibility.
- Negotiations skills.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing
